Appe Settings Tutorial

1. Open APPE Settings

1. Go to Appe → Appe Settings
2. Open the single settings record
3. This page controls all mobile app feature access

2. Enable Check-In

1. Locate Enable Check-In
2. Set value to 1 (Enabled)
3. This allows employees to Check-In / Check-Out from mobile app

Result:
- Check-In button becomes visible in the app
- Attendance can be marked

3. Enable Check-In with Face ID

1. Find Enable Check-In with Face ID
2. Enable only if face recognition is configured
3. Employee face data must be available

Use Case:
- Secure attendance
- Prevent proxy check-ins

4. Enable Live Location Tracking

1. Enable Live Location Tracking
2. App will capture employee location periodically
3. Location data is sent to backend

Important:
- Location permission must be allowed in mobile app
- Inform employees before enabling

5. Enable Approval Requests

1. Enable Approval Requests
2. Approval module becomes visible in mobile app
3. Employees can submit approval requests

If Disabled:
- Approval section will not appear in the app

6. Enable Attendance

1. Enable Attendance
2. Attendance module becomes active in the mobile app
3. Employees can view attendance records

7. Enable Leave Balance

1. Enable Leave Balance
2. Employees can view available leave balance
3. Reduces dependency on HR team

8. Configure Push Notifications (OneSignal)

1. Enter OneSignal App ID
2. Enter OneSignal API Key
3. Save settings

Purpose:
- Send push notifications to mobile users
- Alerts, approvals, updates

Security Tip:
- Keep API Key confidential
- Do not expose in client-side code

9. Save Settings

• Click Save
• Restart or re-login in mobile app
• Features will appear based on enabled options

10. Tips

• Enable only required features
• Test changes in staging before production
• Face ID should be enabled only after proper testing
• Live location tracking should follow company privacy policy
